Faster than light neutrinos? This is the big story of the month, the possible witnessing of neutrinos that traveled the distance between two detectors a few nanoseconds faster than they would have at c. R as skeptical, but it does beg the corny joke (courtesy of A): "We don't allow faster than light neutrinos in here" said the bartender. A neutrino walks into a bar.

Gene network selectively targets cancer cells This is somewhat close to what I'm working on, but its an interesting demonstration of a biological computer actually working in vivo.

Yawning might cool the brain? The evidence is a bit circumstantial, but it'd be an interesting reason for yawning.

Visualizing dreams It's super cool that you can make out the vague shapes just from fMRI, a fairly coarse grained visualization means.
